About Jack
I’ve worked as a substitute cello faculty in the Precollege Division of Manhattan School of Music and have given masterclasses internationally. I’m fluent in both Mandarin and English, making lessons accessible for students from diverse backgrounds. My teaching style focuses on a personalized approach, blending strong technical development with expressive music-making.
Of course, what’s great about music if it wasn’t fun? I’ll make sure we keep in mind that we’re here to love music and enjoy playing!

I offer trial lessons online for free and can help arrange cello rentals or purchases as needed.
