About Hestie
Hello! My name is Hestie Erasmus, and I am a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher with a BEd Honors degree in Mathematics Education and 5 years of teaching experience. I currently teach Mathematics from Grades 8 to 12 and have extensive experience with the CAPS curriculum, exam preparation, assessment design, and learner support.
I believe that every student can succeed in Mathematics with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and results-driven. I focus on helping learners understand concepts rather than simply memorizing methods, allowing them to build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills.
Lessons are available in both English and Afrikaans and are tailored to each learner's individual needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for tests and exams, improving your marks, or achieving distinctions, I will create a structured learning plan to help you succeed.
Students can expect well-prepared lessons, clear explanations, plenty of practice opportunities, and a positive learning environment where questions are always welcome. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help learners develop confidence and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with a BEd Honors degree and 5 years of experience teaching Grades 8–12 Mathematics. My lessons are available in both English and Afrikaans and are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.
