About Rini
I am an experienced and patient tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, including teaching engineering students and explaining mathematical and technical concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
I also recently supported my own son through his GCSE Maths, so I understand the challenges students face during their GCSE years and the importance of building confidence alongside improving exam results.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs. I take time to understand where a student is struggling and explain topics step by step, using examples and exam-style questions to help them develop their understanding and exam technique.
I offer online GCSE Maths lessons for Year 10 and Year 11 students, covering both Foundation and Higher levels. Lessons are usually one hour and can be arranged during evenings and weekends.
My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them. I want every student to finish each lesson feeling that they understand Maths a little better and are more confident about their ability.
I look forward to helping your child build confidence and achieve their Maths goals.

I believe Maths is much easier to learn when students understand the steps rather than simply memorising formulae. My approach is patient, friendly and tailored to each student's ability. I first identify areas where the student needs support and then explain the topic step by step, using simple examples before moving on to exam-style questions.
I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling under pressure. As they become more confident, I gradually increase the difficulty and focus on improving both their understanding and exam technique. I also use past-paper and GCSE-style questions to help students become familiar with the type of questions they will face in their exams.
I have 8 years of experience teaching engineering students, which has given me strong experience in explaining mathematical and technical concepts clearly. I also recently supported my own son with his GCSE Maths, so I understand the challenges GCSE students face and the importance of building confidence as well as knowledge.
My lessons are mainly for GCSE students in Years 10 and 11, covering both Foundation and Higher Maths. Lessons are typically one hour, although I can be flexible depending on the student's needs.
My aim is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand how and why they reached it, so they can approach future questions independently and with confidence.
