About Meg
After passing my A-levels I first completed a BSc in pharmacology at the University of Bristol, during this time I managed to revise for and take the GAMSAT and score within the top 5%, getting me in to medical school.
I decided to start tutoring because throughout all my studying I always wished there was someone I could go to for advice and help who wouldn't judge and would help me figure out what I needed to do to reach my goals. I'd like to be that person for you.
In myself, I'm an honest but kind person who is always up for a laugh and joke to make things a bit more enjoyable, I love coming up with new ways to explain things. I persist until I see that light bulb moment!

Learning is an individual experience and should always be tailored to the student. As a tutor, I am extremely adaptable, I take into account not only how my student learns best but also what they need from me on any given day to reach their goals.
I have been tutoring solidly for the last 4 years and at intervals for a few years before that, focussing on GAMSAT and A-level Biology and Chemistry and have received excellent feedback so far. I am flexible on lesson timings and aim to work around you and your needs.
Personally, I hold a BSc in pharmacology and completed the GAMSAT during my second year of this degree, scoring within the top 5% of applicants to land 4/4 interviews. As well as tutoring for the GAMSAT I'm always happy to give advice on the application process and often take my GAMSAT students through interview tutoring - if you're looking for a tutor with a wealth of knowledge and experience not only in GAMSAT but also in medical applications then look no further!

Well prepared, explains things clearly.
I found Meg’s teaching style friendly and flexible. She helped me get to grips with chemistry for the GAMSAT and also gave me good advice on study methods etc. I had little-no chemistry/ science base and Meg had a wonderful way of explaining complex chemistry equations so that I was able to understand the concepts better. I will never forget benzene rings now : D I am also a very anxious person and Meg helped calm me down before the exam but was also honest with me, helping me to better manage my expectations. She also had a lot of patience and never made me feel stupid for wrong or silly answers. I am very grateful for her support over the year.
Excellent tutor, has a background in pharmacology and medicine, and uses her extensive knowledge to teach up to higher education level.
Megan is an amazing tutor who takes a conscientious interest in helping her students succeed. She is hardworking and an excellent communicator. Definitely would recommend having her as your tutor
