About Finn

Bonjour! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in French Language Teaching. I have a passion for making French vibrant and musical, and I love integrating rhythm, music, and phonetics into my pronunciation coaching. In my lessons, I use French songs, tongue twisters, and poetry to help students develop accent, intonation, and a natural speech flow. These tools make learning enjoyable while reinforcing proper pronunciation and expression. I’ve worked with actors, voice artists, and singers, helping them refine their vocal skills while mastering the language. My approach is playful yet structured, focusing on clarity, confidence, and musicality in spoken French. I also emphasize listening, repetition, and performance exercises to help students internalize rhythms and sounds. Each lesson is tailored to your goals, whether for everyday conversation, performance, or professional use. I believe learning French should be as creative and expressive as speaking or singing itself. Together, we work on voice, expression, and fluency, making progress both fun and meaningful. I invite you to develop your voice and your French fluency, and discover the joy of speaking beautifully.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making French practical, enjoyable, and easy to use in everyday situations. I start with pronunciation drills and listening exercises to help students speak clearly and confidently. We explore regional variations to understand different accents and expressions, making your French more authentic. Beginner dialogues and real-life scenarios are an important part of my lessons. These help students practice speaking naturally and responding in real time. I also emphasize vocabulary retention through fun exercises, storytelling, and repetition, so words and phrases stick. Grammar is taught in context, never in isolation, to make learning meaningful and relevant. I support students in developing strong conversational skills, whether for travel, connecting with family, or simply enjoying the language. Role-plays, interactive exercises, and mini-challenges build confidence and fluency. I integrate cultural insights to make lessons richer and more memorable. Technology also plays a role. We use apps for listening, flashcards for vocabulary, and recording tools to track progress. Each lesson is tailored to your pace and goals, ensuring steady improvement. My goal is to make learning French practical, engaging, and confidence-boosting.
