About Kathsine
My professional journey spans more than 20 years in education, social services, and educational leadership in France and Canada.
I began my career as a French teacher in France before specializing in educational support. Over the years, I have also held leadership positions in social and educational institutions, managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating services for children, young people and families.
My academic background includes a master's degree in human sciences, specialized educator training, and qualifications in management and quality systems. These experiences have strengthened my organizational skills, professional judgment and ability to communicate effectively with families and educational professionals.
I am currently continuing my professional development at the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa.
I bring to tutoring not only academic knowledge, but also the maturity, professionalism, and commitment I have developed throughout my career. I value reliability, respect, confidentiality and clear communication. Building trust with students and their families is central to my work.

Does your child attend a French-language school or a French immersion program, but homework time at home has become stressful? I’m here to help.
I am a francophone educator with experience in Ontario French-language schools, where I supported children and teens with learning difficulties, anxiety and attention challenges. I also have a background in teaching and a master’s degree in human sciences.
Who my lessons are for:
Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in French schools or immersion. This includes children who struggle, lack confidence, or whose parents don’t speak French at home.
My approach:
Every child learns differently. I start by understanding how your child thinks, what blocks them, and what motivates them. Then I adapt my methods: visual supports, short activities, routines, and lots of encouragement. My goal is not only better grades but a child who feels capable again.

Details
Your first 45-minute lesson is free, with no obligation to continue. This is a real French lesson designed to assess your child's current skills, provide personalized instruction and identify learning goals. Parents receive brief feedback and recommendations at the end of the session.
I offer flexible options for individual lessons and regular weekly sessions. Lesson packages are available at a reduced hourly rate.
Lessons are available online across Canada and internationally, as well as in person in Brampton, Ontario, subject to availability.
In-person lessons may include an additional travel fee depending on the location. All fees are confirmed in advance.
Parents receive a brief progress update after each session.
