About Clay

I am a passionate flute tutor who enjoys helping students grow musically, creatively, and personally. My teaching combines mentorship, critical thinking, creativity, and accountability. I focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while nurturing expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training for well-rounded musicianship.
