About Megan

I am a qualified PE teacher with a PGCE and a First-Class degree in Sport and Exercise Science. With experience in A-level PE examining and teaching at prestigious independent schools both in the UK and internationally, I have a deep understanding of the GCSE, IB and A-Level PE specifications, specialising in OCR. I currently teach and assess students across multiple sets, delivering high-quality lessons and offering tailored support for exam and coursework success.

I’ve loved sport and how the body works for as long as I can remember – but it was during my degree and PGCE that I realised how much I enjoy teaching it. Private tutoring gave me the perfect space to share that passion one-on-one, helping students achieve their goals and enjoy the journey as much as I do.
I teach GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IB SEHS – and I’m all about making the academic side of PE exciting! I love diving into biomechanics, anatomy, and notably sports psych – especially through quizzes, challenges, and real-life sports examples.
Definitely! My high school PE teacher made every lesson fun, challenging, and full of energy – and that’s exactly what inspired me to give back that same energy and passion!

I had a student who really struggled with Biomechanics and understanding concepts and sporting examples– until I linked it to football. A few custom quizzes and some real-world breakdowns later, it became their favourite topic and they achieved an A on their end of topic test.
Helping students see that PE isn’t just about playing sport – it’s academic too! But once they get into the theory with fun lessons and see how it applies to performance, they’re hooked.
