About Robbie
I am a fully-qualified teacher of English as a second language, holding a Level 5 Certificate from Trinity College London. I have been a private tutor for six months, teaching students with a variety of needs and goals. My degree in Writing, Directing and Performance from the University of York has given me the skills in communicating in an entertaining and informative way.
I’m a great communicator, with good A-levels in English, History and Theatre Studies and a friendly, engaging style. I have a passion for language and helping others to learn. Over my time at university I developed a real talent for essay writing. My recent experience teaching English that has allowed me to develop the skills needed to be a personable and engaging teacher.
Based in York, I’m willing to teach online or face-to-face.
