About Maheerah
My name is Maheerah, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student with a passion for teaching and helping learners reach their full potential. My love for teaching began long before university. When I was in school, I was always the person my classmates turned to when they struggled with classwork or needed help preparing for exams. I genuinely enjoyed explaining concepts in different ways until they understood them. One of the most rewarding moments for me is seeing that “lightbulb moment” when a learner suddenly understands something that once seemed impossible. Watching their confidence grow and seeing that spark in their eyes is what inspires me to keep teaching.
I believe that every learner is capable of succeeding with the right guidance and support. That’s why I tailor each lesson to suit the learner’s individual needs, pace, and learning style. My goal is not only to help learners improve their marks but also to help them build confidence, enjoy learning, and believe in their own abilities. I strive to create a patient, supportive, and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens.

As a third-year Education student with classroom experience, I understand that every learner has unique needs. My lessons are carefully planned, engaging, and adapted to each learner’s pace and learning style. I focus on building confidence, strengthening grammar and writing skills, improving comprehension and literature analysis, and preparing learners for tests and exams. I believe learning should be interactive, encouraging, and enjoyable, helping learners achieve academic success while developing a lifelong confidence in English.
