About Sarita
I am a first-generation migrant who has lived in Australia for over 30 years. I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a new language, adapting to a different culture, and building confidence in a new country.
Over the past 25 years, I have worked in senior roles within the Victorian public sector, where clear communication, leadership and professionalism were essential. Throughout my career, I have supported and mentored individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds, helping them strengthen their confidence, communication skills and career progression.
My professional background means I bring structure, clarity and high standards to my teaching. At the same time, my personal migration journey allows me to teach with patience, empathy and understanding.
I believe learning English is not just about grammar. It is about confidence, belonging and independence. Whether you are a new migrant starting from beginner level or a professional wanting to improve workplace communication, I provide a respectful and supportive learning environment where you can grow at your own pace.

I specialise in teaching English to new migrants who are just starting their journey in Australia, as well as professionals who want to strengthen their workplace communication skills.
For beginners, my lessons are patient, practical and easy to understand. I focus on simple, everyday English that you can use immediately in real life. We practise speaking slowly and clearly, building vocabulary step by step, and improving pronunciation in a supportive environment. I use repetition, visual examples, real-life scenarios and guided conversation to help you feel comfortable and understood.
For professionals, I provide structured support in workplace communication, including meeting participation, professional vocabulary, email clarity, and interview preparation. We work on speaking confidently, organising ideas clearly, and improving fluency in professional settings.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include:
• Guided conversation practice
• Vocabulary development
• Listening and speaking exercises
• Pronunciation support
• Practical role play for real life or workplace situations
• Personalised feedback and improvement strategies
I adjust the speed and level to suit each student. There is no pressure and no judgement. My goal is to help you build confidence step by step.
With over 20 years of professional experience working with culturally diverse communities and leadership teams, I understand the challenges migrants and professionals face when communicating in a second language. I am patient, respectful and supportive in every lesson.
