About Sebastian
I am an experienced English teacher with over 20 years' experience, based in London. Very familiar with teaching general English as well as English for exams, including most EFL exams (Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency), IELTS, TOEFL. I was also a former Cambridge University examiner and have extensive knowledge about how exams are written as well as how they are marked. I use this when teaching for exams to make sure my students have the tools they need to pass the exam with good results. I was also previously a teacher trainer and so can help people training to become a teacher. I enjoy teaching one to one as well as groups and am experienced with teaching all ages. I believe learning needs to be fun and I like to add a touch of fun to all my lessons. I am also experienced in translations, both corporate and personal, from Italian into English. I use a variety of teaching methods to best suit the student. Upon working together we will do a test to find out what type of learner you are and then the teaching methods will be tailored according to that as well as your specific needs in English. I am very experienced in helping you improve your speaking, pronunciation and vocabulary as well as grammar, and writing and reading. I was a Cambridge examiner and can get you good results in the main exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE.
