About Mpho

I am currently an English teacher at Itsebeng primary school. I have a bachelor’s degree in education from Northwest University.

My experience as a teacher for 5 years has given me the opportunity to interact with diverse leaners populations and engage them in learning. I am passionate about teaching children and create relationships with them that helps build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow.

About the lesson

I created learning lessons that engaged all learners by applying a variety of teaching methods. I formed cooperative learning groups, organised individual projects, created learning centres and implemented learning style research in every lesson. Alternative assessment methods, such as portfolio, rubric and performance assessment, in combination with tests, enabled me to evaluate the learners individually and comprehensively. My lessons utilize any and all technology that is available, giving my learners an education in common technological uses including presentations and internet research.
