About Sam
I am an experienced teacher of English Language and especially English Literature.
Having taught in London secondary schools for 16 years, I have been an English teacher, an A-Level co-ordinator, a Head of English and I am now an Assistant Vice-Principal for Curriculum.
I have a history of helping students from a wide range of abilities improve and enjoy English/English Lit. and can tailor any sessions to students needs.
I think I am particularly good at engaging and enthusing students who have not enjoyed English up to this point, or those who have important exams coming up.
I believe learning should be fun and meaningful, - otherwise what is the point? Life is too short!
I have a YouTube channel called ‘Lit. Matters’ so you can see some of my teaching ideas and decide for yourself whether you might like my teaching style or not!
