About Stephen
Hello, I’m Stephen, a dedicated and qualified teacher now based in Melbourne, Australia.
Originally from Hong Kong, I have over 20 years of experience teaching Oral English and ICT. I hold a Master’s degree and Postgraduate Certificate of Education (International) from Keele University (UK), along with a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Higher Diploma in Psychology (Top Student Award 2011). I also hold a Certificate II in Information Technology from Swinburne University.
I teach because I genuinely love helping people grow in confidence and ability. Seeing students improve their spoken English, master new technology skills, or overcome learning challenges brings me real joy. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels capable of success.

My Teaching Approach
I teach with a friendly, patient, and practical style. My lessons are interactive and focused on real progress rather than just theory. For Oral English, I use conversation practice, pronunciation drills, role-plays, and feedback on fluency and confidence. For ICT, I provide clear step-by-step demonstrations with hands-on exercises tailored to the students’ needs.
Most lessons are 60 minutes long, but I can adjust to 45 or 90 minutes depending on your preference.
With over 20 years of teaching experience (mainly in Hong Kong) and formal qualifications including a Master’s degree and PGCE (International) from Keele University, UK, I bring both strong subject knowledge and effective teaching methods to every class.
I welcome students of all ages and levels, from children and teenagers to adults and working professionals. Whether you want to improve your spoken English, prepare for exams, or build practical ICT skills, I can help.
