About Hong

I am a young, energetic and approachable mentor with over three years of hands-on experience working with children and teenagers across schools, OSHC and community settings. I am currently completing my Arts and Secondary Education degrees at the University of Adelaide, specializing in Psychology and History.

My experience as a School Support Officer, former OSHC Coordinator and youth mentor has given me a strong understanding of young people’s diverse needs. I combine my Psychology and Education background with practical experience, creativity and enthusiasm to make mentoring engaging, meaningful and enjoyable.

I believe my greatest strength is bringing together youthful energy, professional knowledge and genuine experience to help young people build confidence, independence and overall well-being.

About the lesson

I offer flexible, personalised mentoring tailored to each child’s interests, abilities and individual needs. With my own vehicle, I can provide transport and organise a wide range of activities, including community excursions, sports, outdoor adventures, shopping and visits to places your child enjoys, with parental consent and appropriate safety arrangements. My focus is on building confidence, independence, social skills and overall wellbeing through meaningful real-world experiences, beyond traditional classroom learning.
