About Gianna

Hi! My name is Gianna, and I'm a 19-year-old student at Slippery Rock University with a lifelong passion for dance. I started dancing when I was 4 years old and trained for over 14 years in a variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater.
Throughout my years of training, I developed not only strong technical skills but also confidence, discipline, and a love for helping others learn. Although I no longer dance competitively, I'm excited to share my knowledge with the next generation of dancers.
I strive to create a fun, patient, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels supported and motivated. My goal is to help young dancers build confidence, improve their technique, and develop a genuine love for dance while enjoying every lesson.
I look forward to helping your child grow, learn, and have fun through dance!

About the lesson

My goal is to create a positive, fun, and encouraging environment where young dancers feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves. I understand that every child learns at their own pace, so I tailor each lesson to their age, experience level, and individual goals.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up and stretching to help build flexibility and prevent injuries. From there, we'll focus on fundamental dance techniques, coordination, rhythm, balance, and learning new skills through engaging exercises and choreography. I believe children learn best when they're having fun, so I incorporate games, positive reinforcement, and creative movement into lessons whenever appropriate.
I specialize in teaching beginners and young dancers who want to build confidence, improve their technique, or simply explore their love of dance. Whether your child is trying dance for the first time or wants extra practice outside of the studio, I'll provide patient, supportive instruction that helps them grow at a pace that's right for them.
What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for dance and my genuine love for helping children succeed. Having trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre for over 14 years, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation while making every lesson enjoyable. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling proud of what they've learned and excited to keep dancing
