About Jasmin
I am interested in casual dance teaching positions across the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and musical theatre. I believe that my previous training and teaching experiences would make me a suitable candidate for teaching positions in these styles.
I have been training at Theatrix Performing Arts for the past 13 years, participating in a range of recreational and competitive classes. I have taken both private and group classes, and have payed attention to how these classes run successfully.Now I am taking classes in jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop at Theatrix Performing Arts, as well as ballet at DMC Studio.
I begun student teaching classes for children aged 3 to 10 years old at the age of 13, across a range of styles. In my later teen years I have begun casually teaching classes to a larger age bracket.
To further my experience in the performance industry I have participated in workshops by Bangara Dance Company, as well as being a member of the Jr Hawks cheerleading squad for multiple seasons.
I have also had experience in community theatre by participating in a selection of local productions. As well as performing in these musicals, I often assisted with choreography.

I approach teaching a class by placing myself in the students situation, as students should be participating in dance for their enjoyment. Once gaining an understanding on the performers capabilities I will adjust my class plan to suit their needs.
