About Rosalind
I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I read music, and the Royal Northern College of Music where I achieved MMus with distinction, and was an ABRSM scholar. I am an experienced and passionate teacher, having worked in a prep school for several years, and was director of Music for two years. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in music education, with a focus on Dalcroze Eurthythmics.
I am a supportive and enthusiastic tutor who has a great deal of varied experience, including working as a tutor, a flute teacher, as a learning support assistant in a primary school, an assistant music teacher in a secondary school, working with children with special needs, working as an au pair for four children in Paris (aged 0-11), working in a summer school for international teenagers. I have also taught music (especially flute) to adults, and run singing workshops in prisons.

Flute and recorder teacher based on Chessington. Very experienced teaching children aged 3 to teenagers as well as adults. Focusing on musicianship and love of music!
I draw on my training in Dalcroze eurythmics and Kodaly musicianship to ensure all-round musical development, and joy of learning and music making! I am currently researching Dalcroze as part of a PhD in music education.

I charge £25 for 30 minutes (recommended for younger students) and £45 for 60 minutes (also applicable to siblings)
