About Innocentia
I began my journey to home-based education in January 2024 and I knew that I was making an excellent choice for my children. I understood the level of commitment that the role of an educational facilitator would require. As a result, I committed every day and even weekends, to ensure that my children received the best of two worlds: a nurturing mother who would instill confidence in them and a firm facilitator who believed in them and challenged them beyond their limits.
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Selborne Primary School (2026)
Position: Trainee teacher
•planned and delivered lessons to classes in all foundation phase grades.
•implemented the CAPS curriculum throughout teaching practice
•acted independently as a substitute (trainee) teacher upon the register teacher’s request
Laerskool Handhawer (2025)
Position: Trainee teacher
•Assisted the register teacher with student admin including filing of assessment folders and controlling of learners' written classroom content
•Management and monitoring of learners' movements in and outside the classroom
•Individual assistance of LSEN/challenged learners during lessons
