I have been passionate about chess from a young age, fascinated by its combination of strategy, psychology, and creativity. Over the years, I’ve competed, studied, and taught extensively, learning that chess is both an intellectual challenge and a personal journey of growth. Teaching allows me to share this passion and witness students develop independent thinking, resilience, and confidence through play.

About the lesson

My chess lessons focus on developing both technical skill and mental agility. I guide students to think ahead, anticipate challenges, and cultivate patience while learning to enjoy the strategic depth of the game. Each lesson blends tactical exercises, positional understanding, and full gameplay to create a comprehensive learning experience that develops logical reasoning alongside creativity.

Beginners learn piece movement, basic tactics, and simple checkmates, while intermediate learners work on opening principles, pattern recognition, and positional strategy. Advanced students dive into master-level games, endgame techniques, and psychological aspects of competitive play. Lessons include problem-solving puzzles, scenario simulations, and reflective analysis, allowing students to immediately apply learned concepts.

I aim to show that chess is more than a game — it’s a tool for critical thinking, decision-making, and self-discipline. By connecting lessons to real-world problem-solving and strategic planning, students gain skills that extend beyond the chessboard, building focus, confidence, and resilience in everyday life.
