About Mira

I have been teaching chess for 8 years, and the game has been a significant part of my life, shaping how I think, analyze, and make decisions. What began as a personal interest evolved into a passion for helping others discover the beauty and challenge of chess. Supporting students as they grow into confident, strategic thinkers brings me great fulfillment. My teaching style is patient, structured, and motivating. I guide students step by step, but also encourage independent thought, self-reflection, and personal strategy development. I focus on building confidence, fostering curiosity, and teaching students how to learn from mistakes without fear. I aim to create a learning environment that is challenging, positive, and deeply rewarding. Outside teaching, I continue to study advanced strategy, analyze master games, and participate in chess communities to keep my skills sharp. I truly believe chess develops valuable life skills—patience, discipline, focus, and creative problem-solving. Teaching it allows me to pass on these benefits and inspire students through a game that builds both intellect and character.

About the lesson

My chess lessons are designed to strengthen strategic thinking, problem-solving, and concentration while keeping learning fun and interactive. I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel motivated to think critically, analyze positions, and approach challenges with confidence. Lessons cover tactical patterns, opening principles, middle-game planning, endgame mastery, positional understanding, and real-game application through guided practice and analysis.

I teach students of all skill levels. Beginners learn piece movement, rules, board setup, basic tactics, and simple strategies that build confidence. Intermediate players work on deeper strategic planning, positional play, opening repertoire, pattern recognition, and analyzing their own games. Advanced learners focus on tournament preparation, calculation skills, psychological discipline, complex strategy, and refining personal playing style. I tailor lesson plans to each student’s growth pace, goals, and strengths.

Students walk away with sharper thinking, improved focus, and stronger decision-making abilities that benefit both in and beyond the game. More than winning, I want students to enjoy the process of learning, develop mental resilience, and experience the satisfaction that comes with growth, strategic mastery, and disciplined thinking.
