About Siona

I am a chess tutor with 8 years of coaching experience, working with students aiming for tournament and academy-level play. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance, and that deep training shaped my analytical thinking and disciplined approach to teaching strategy. Chess, like music, demands structure and imagination. I enjoy guiding players to see both.

I help students prepare for scholastic competitions, rating improvement, and serious club play. We study openings carefully, but we also focus on planning in the middlegame. I teach calculation methods, positional understanding, and time management. Short exercises strengthen pattern recognition. Every lesson includes practical games and review.
