About Karla
I am a supportive and approachable Business Studies tutor with experience teaching and supporting university and postgraduate students. I make lessons clear, engaging and practical by using real-world examples, case studies and discussions to connect theory with business practice. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, whether they need help understanding concepts, preparing assignments, improving academic skills or building confidence.
My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their ideas. I focus on clear explanations, constructive feedback and practical application to help students achieve their academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, practical and adapted to each learner’s level, goals and learning style. I combine clear explanations with real-world business examples, guided discussions, case studies and practical activities to help students understand concepts and apply them confidently.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adapt the length depending on the student’s needs and objectives. I usually structure lessons around a clear learning objective, explanation of key concepts, practical application, questions and feedback.
I am a Graduate Trainee Lecturer in Business with experience supporting degree-level and Master’s students in higher education. I provide academic guidance, support with coursework and projects, monitor progress and help students develop their understanding and confidence.
I primarily tutor university and postgraduate students studying Business, Management and related subjects. I can also support students who need help with academic skills, assignments, presentations, research and understanding business concepts.
