About Shreya
Hi! I’m a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer with several years of training and performance experience. I love sharing this beautiful classical art form and helping students discover the joy of dance. Teaching allows me to guide learners in technique, expression, and rhythm, while also building their confidence and stage presence.
I want to teach because I believe Bharatanatyam is not just a dance, but a way to tell stories and express emotions, and it brings me great joy to see students grow and enjoy the art as much as I do. My goal is to create a fun, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can develop their skills and love for dance.

My Bharatanatyam lessons focus on classical dance technique, rhythm, and expressive storytelling. Students will learn basic to advanced postures (adavus), hand gestures (mudras), and footwork patterns, gradually building coordination and fluidity. Lessons also emphasise abhinaya (facial expressions and emotion) to convey stories effectively, along with rhythmic timing, stage presence, and confidence in performance.
Each session is structured to balance technique practice, creative expression, and performance readiness, ensuring students develop both skill and artistic understanding of this classical dance form.
