About Xiner
I’m a NSW solicitor and lifelong music enthusiast who has studied the bamboo flute for over 20 years. Growing up in China, I was immersed in traditional music from a young age. I love sharing that heritage through teaching. My approach is patient, encouraging, and always tailored to your goals—whether you're learning for fun, culture, or performance. Outside of music, I enjoy hiking and the arts, and I bring that same calm and focus into every lesson.

I’ve been playing the bamboo flute for over 20 years and love sharing the rich tradition of Chinese music with others. My lessons focus on tone, breath control, finger techniques, and musical expression. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, I tailor each session to your pace and interests. We'll explore folk tunes, classical pieces, and even improvisation if you like. Lessons are relaxed, enjoyable, and available in-person or online.
