About David
I am a retired senior legal academic with more than forty years of experience teaching and writing university-level law in a number of jurisdictions both for law students and business students and at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am seeking to make my expertise and knowledge available again as it seems a shame to waste them and I feel I can usefully contribute to current students' progress. I have always been concerned about the skills assumed to be possessed by students but the unknowing absence of which inhibits progress. Individual tutoring in the background, as it were, can address these.

In 50 minute lessons, students will work through their subject area tutorial problems, focussing on techniques of problem analysis, issue identification, law explanation and application, and answer writing. These sessions are expected to be run in parallel with students' university subjects, ensuring that students are not disadvantaged in their assessments by the absence of relevant skills. David has written extensively in his subject areas, including books about learning law. He also has a PhD, LLM, LLB (Hons) and B Com, and has forty years experience in teaching law at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at established Universities.
