About Sebas

My seven years of teaching music have really emphasized my passion for education. I love helping my students become not just better musicians but also more confident individuals overall. I believe in a holistic approach to education that takes all facets of my students' personal backgrounds into account.

About the lesson

After completing my training at POWERVOICE Academy near Hamburg, I spent seven years running a successful music school in Berlin. I worked with students of all ages and across a wide range of genres, from musical theater to pop/rock, and even metal. I tailor my teaching approach to everyone's current ability level, working with beginners as well as full-time professional musicians. POWERVOICE Academy is one of Germany's leading schools for pop and rock vocals. Their program for prospective vocal coaches includes tuition in teaching songwriting alongside vocal techniques needed for modern music, including those required for safe and sustainable metal vocals. The course is also accompanied by a licensed speech and language therapist to cover all anatomical and physiological aspects of singing and sound production to guarantee great vocal health. I use a holistic approach in my teaching practice with students of all ages and abilities, including elements from both my background in musical theater and the techniques taught by POWERVOICE as they benefit each individual student. Many of my students have moved on to be professional singers or to compete on national television. Student voices: “With all the things Sebas has lured out of me and what they’ve taught me, as well as the amount of fun I'm having, they're actually worth six stars!” - Simona (61), student from 2021-2024 “They are so premiummmm, I’ve been their student for five years and they made incredible things out of me. Thanks to them, I can now sing in front of crowds, among other things. You're not only learning singing techniques here, but also provided with a lot of opportunities for personal growth. Thank you!!!” -Melodi (18), student from 2017-2023 “I hired Sebas for a full on singing session for a group of 10 people who had never sang next to one another. She accompanied us, taught us how to perform as a group, and even recorded and edited a song for us. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot! I would definitely recommend her!” - Niels (38), workshop participant "I used to have no confidence in myself and my voice, but through the help of Sebas I was able to find my confidence and now you can't stop me from singing! Sebas offers professional tailor made courses to fit your needs, all in a comfortable environment where you can learn and feel relaxed. Very flexible and good value for money. It doesn't matter what your skill level is, whether you are someone who is just starting out or someone who is already experienced and just looking to further improve your skill set, Sebas is someone I would highly recommend to everyone. 10/10 " - Cadin (25), student from 2022-2024 "Sebas is the best singing teacher I ever had. Kind, patient and always in good mood. Every lesson was a blast! Not only your vocals will improve but also your confidence. I can’t thank her enough." - Luiz (33), student in 2022 "This woman has been my loyal Vocal Coach for so long, going thru my whole life and rise of my career. She's the one that gave me a great voice! - Lukas (16) student from 2018-2024
