About Lawrence

When I begin tutoring a new student, I briefly speak with them and listen carefully to find out what their areas of greatest difficulty are in the subject they want tutoring in. Then I choose some problems from the student's homework or textbook for the student to work while I watch and listen to them as they solve the problems. Using my years of teaching and tutoring experience, I will isolate their areas of difficulty and help the student correct their mistakes. My approach is methodical whether the student wants tutoring in Geometry or chemistry. I always listen to what the student is saying and change my direction to keep the student moving forward.
