About Alexandra

I’m an experienced secondary school teacher and Head of Biology, with extensive experience teaching GCSE Science, including GCSE Physics, alongside Biology and Chemistry. I have taught students across a range of abilities and understand the challenges students can face when tackling the more mathematical and concept-heavy areas of Physics.

I hold a Master’s degree in Education, which has strengthened my understanding of how students learn and how to adapt teaching to meet individual needs. I’m experienced in identifying gaps in knowledge, addressing misconceptions and developing effective exam technique to help students make progress.

My approach is structured, supportive and engaging. I break down complex Physics concepts into clear, manageable steps and use questioning, retrieval practice and exam-style questions to help students develop both understanding and confidence.

About the lesson

I offer personalised GCSE Physics lessons designed to build confidence, strengthen understanding and develop the exam skills students need to succeed.

Whether a student is finding Physics difficult or wants to push towards the highest grades, lessons are tailored to their individual goals and starting point.
