About António

I’m António, Portuguese and currently studying at Trinity College Dublin as a European Excellence Scholar. I’ve lived in five countries, interned at the Portuguese MFA abroad, worked in Brussels for a major governance firm, and supported students applying to top universities across Europe. I have grown massively over the past years, going from an average student to achieving results at a high level, and I’m passionate about helping younger students follow the same upward path with confidence and strategy.

About the lesson

My approach to university applications is structured, strategic, and highly personalized. I guide students through every step of the process: choosing suitable programs, building a competitive profile, structuring their CV, and crafting strong motivation letters and personal statements. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and combine guidance, review of materials, and hands-on improvements. Having lived, studied and worked in five countries — including a diplomatic internship in Canada, governance work in Brussels, and now as a European Excellence Scholar at Trinity College Dublin, I’ve built an international network with students and graduates from some of the world’s top universities, including Stanford, Columbia, HEC Paris, Sciences Po, Bocconi, UCL and many others. I also bring practical experience, having helped students gain admission to competitive programs at Sciences Po, LSE, HEC, Bocconi, Trinity, UCL, Bath and Nova SBE. My support is ideal for high-school, bachelor and master’s applicants in the social sciences, business, politics, IR and related fields.

After working for two years in a Big4 firm, I've decided to pursue the MSc in Finance at Nova SBE , ranked 6th in Financial Times Ranking. Because the program is highly selective, I knew I had to submit a perfect application to maximize my chances of acceptance. Once again, I asked António for support, not only to refine my CV, but also to help me write a strong Motivation Letter, which is a key element in the admission committee's process.
