About Nana Hauwa
My name is Nana Hauwa, and I'm a dedicated Accounting graduate with both an NCE in Accounting and a BSc in Accounting. These qualifications have given me a solid foundation in financial principles, business concepts, and economic theories, knowledge I love sharing with students.
With 2 years of classroom teaching experience in secondary schools, I've had the privilege of working directly with Junior and Senior Secondary learners, helping them build confidence and master challenging subjects. I've also successfully trained several students for GCE examinations (alongside WAEC and NECO prep), and I'm proud to say many achieved strong results and even developed a real interest in Accounting, Commerce, and Economics.
What drives me most is seeing that "aha!" moment when a concept clicks for a student. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about education especially in making subjects like Accounting feel practical and relevant to everyday life in Nigeria. I'm also very proficient with technology in education: I use digital tools, interactive platforms, online resources, and screen-sharing to create engaging, modern lessons that keep students focused and make complex topics easier to grasp.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying updated with current economic trends and exploring new ed-tech apps to improve my methods. I'm committed to supporting every student at their own pace, whether they're struggling to catch up or aiming for top grades.

I specialize in teaching Accounting, Commerce, and Economics to Senior Secondary School (SSS1–SSS3) students, focusing on exam-oriented content: financial statements, calculations, theory, graphs, essay writing, objective questions, and real-world applications using Nigerian contexts.
