About the lesson

Private lessons teach personal discipline and build a strong work ethic, character traits absolutely necessary for success in life. One-on-one attention: The class setting offers little to no individual attention. As such, children who struggle with a concept can easily, though unintentionally, be overlooked. In contrast, a private teacher is able to note areas of struggle and give individual-specific assistance. The one-on-one approach, when working with a private tutor, can help students to become more confident about their knowledge in the subject. Continuous positive reinforcement from that can be beneficial for their self-esteem. As a result, they can become more active and participative in school as well.
