About Emily

Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I bring both academic knowledge and practical performance experience to every lesson. I begin with foundational techniques such as posture, finger positioning, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, then guide students into advanced skills, improvisation, and composition. I integrate theory seamlessly into lessons, demonstrating its practical application through songs. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, goals, and interests, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience. I emphasize creativity, self-expression, and confidence-building alongside technical skill. My teaching includes ear training, sight-reading, and performance practice to prepare students for real-world playing situations. I provide structured practice plans and constructive feedback to encourage steady progress. I believe that discipline and creativity should coexist in every lesson. I celebrate milestones and encourage students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
