About Alba

Alba - Your Online Ballet Instructor

Hello! My name is Alba, and I am excited to share my passion for ballet with you. As a former Dominican ballet dancer and an experienced dance teacher, I bring 17 years of professional experience to my online classes. My journey in ballet has been marked by numerous achievements, including being recognized for achieving the highest number of awards at my school for five consecutive years, representing the Dominican Republic in international ballet competitions, and graduating as the best dancer of my generation.

My teaching career began at the age of 12 as part of my requirements for earning a bachelor's degree as a professional dancer, ballet teacher, and choreographer. Since then, I have had the pleasure of teaching over 200 students, ranging from 3-year-olds to adults, and from beginners to advanced dancers. My approach is tailored to each student's needs, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for ballet.

In addition to my dedication to ballet, I am also a proud mother to a 7-month-old and a senior accountant. Balancing these roles has given me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the discipline and joy that ballet can bring to our lives.
