About Kai
I am a committed piano tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds grow as musicians. I believe that learning piano is about more than technical skill—it is about creativity, expression, and enjoyment.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalised instruction. I assess each student’s abilities and goals, then create lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I also incorporate music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop complete musicianship.
Lessons are creative, engaging, and interactive, often including song practice, improvisation, and performance preparation. I specialise in simplifying complex concepts, motivating students, and helping them develop confidence, consistency, and disciplined practice habits.
My ultimate goal is to provide a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their full potential.

Flexibility ensures that lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, level, and style of learning, allowing steady progress without pressure.
In addition to piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive approach helps students develop both technical skills and musical understanding. My aim is to create a learning experience that builds confidence, skill, and a lifelong love for music in every student.
