About Loni
I am a committed piano tutor with 11 years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds improve their musical skills. I focus on making piano lessons simple, practical, and enjoyable for everyone. My teaching style emphasises communication, patience, and structured learning.
I design lessons that strengthen basics like finger technique, note reading, and rhythm, then gradually progress to advanced skills. Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop well-rounded musicians. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop strong practice habits in a positive and encouraging learning environment.

My teaching methodology emphasises confidence-building, creative, and adaptive learning. Creativity is a key element of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical styles, helping them develop a personal voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering a productive and engaging learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical proficiency, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My aim is to help students become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
