About Nae
I am a passionate piano tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is a journey that combines skill, creativity, and self-expression. My teaching approach emphasises patience, clear communication, and personalised instruction.
I assess each student’s level, goals, and learning style to create customised lessons that develop strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I gradually introduce advanced techniques when students are ready, ensuring they progress at a comfortable pace.
In addition to piano practice, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a complete musical foundation.
My lessons are interactive and engaging, often incorporating songs, improvisation, and performance preparation. I specialise in simplifying complex concepts into easy steps, helping students stay motivated and build confidence.
I also guide students in developing disciplined practice routines to ensure consistent improvement. My aim is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical potential and enjoy every step of their piano journey.

Through clear communication, I understand each student’s goals, strengths, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are personalised, effective, and inspiring.
Creativity is central to my teaching approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore various musical genres, fostering originality, artistic confidence, and self-expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, creating a smooth, productive, and rewarding learning experience.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology strengthens technical proficiency, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My goal is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
