About Rulynn

I am currently a teacher teaching Afrikaans FAL to Gr. 10 and 11 learners. It gives me great pleasure to see learners succeed in what was once a big mountain to climb. It puts a smile on my face when Afrikaans starts to become one with those that used to struggle with it.

About the lesson

Throughout my 16 years of teaching I have taught many learners of all ages.

For my learners I ensure classes are energetic, playful and visual. I focus on keeping learners engaged by using interactive tools. I believe learning should be fun to get the results you want. I customise your curriculum based on milestones reached. We will focus on building real-world skills and improve your language proficiency.

My classroom is highly supportive and comfortable where mistakes are simply treated as steps towards learning. I believe we learn through mistakes. I tailor my pacing entirely to your comfort level.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

"Lynn is literally the most patient teacher ever. I used to hate raising my hand in class because I felt so far behind, but our tutoring sessions changed everything. She helped me bridge all the learning gaps I had from previous grades without making me feel bad about it. She really builds your confidence up. I went from barely scraping through to actually getting really good marks in my tests. I highly recommend her!"
