About Andrew

From high achievers looking for an academic edge, to students struggling with their grades and frustrated with school — I work with a wide range of university, primary and secondary students. I am particularly passionate about helping students struggling to learn effectively in their classroom environment and have broad experience assisting students with a number of learning disorders ranging from mild to severe. Having tutored for 6 years across multiple platforms, I have extensive knowledge of Australian, American and IB Curriculums. I support my students' studies across all high school subjects as needed (except foreign languages). At a university level I tutor law, business, remedial math, creative and nonfiction writing. I also provide general productivity, planning and academic mentorship across most subjects. About the lesson

I have broad experience teaching undergraduate and master's degree students undertaking studies at a broad range of universities including UQ, USYD, QUT, Griffith, Bond, USC and ACU. I am a specialist tutor with a strong academic record — Graduating with honors from the UQ School of Law in 2023. Drawing from several years of experience working with large groups, private bookings and after-school college classrooms — I provide a unique service to my clients helping them to holistically improve their academic outlook. I approach each student as an individual with their own unique strengths, weaknesses, learning styles and interests. I adjust accordingly to my clients' needs, seeking to provide the best service for each individual. I believe that education is best valued and appreciated by students when they find purpose and enjoyment in their activities. For this reason, I seek to make every subject as engaging and enjoyable as possible, and attempt to demonstrate real-world application to whatever we are studying.

Then he straight away booked time to tutor as the exams were only a couple of days away Our daughter thought she may fail and Andrew put in so much time and effort with her and she ended up getting a Credit. Andrew is by far the best tutor we have ever employed for my son. Andrew is very professional - he is always well prepared and knows the Queensland Education curriculum very well. Andrew has a very good rapport with my son, and has suceeded in keeping my son interested and engaged in preparing assessments, revising for exams, and improving my son's study skills.

Andrew has excellent insight into neurodiversity. I believe this is a very important reason Andrew has been so successful with my son.

Andrew has worked with my son in all of his Year 12 courses, including English, Maths, Religion, Biology, and Legal Studies.

I interviewed and trialled several potential tutors before deciding to employ Andrew. Choosing Andrew was the best decision we made for my son. I only wish we found him earlier! Andrew's calm nature, and immense patience was exactly what my son needed.
