About Duvan Fernando
Musician from the 'El bosque' university graduated as a composer. I have been studying music for over eight years, my instruments are the guitar and the flute. In the guitar I handle different musical genres, mainly rock. I'm currently playing in a metal band called Eroica Eterna. As a composer I have a repertoire of works that vary from popular and folkloric, to classical and contemporary. I like teaching, I have had experience in schools and giving individual classes.

My guitar lessons are suitable for all levels, because they are personalized and adaptable to the needs of each person; therefore, I also keep track of the progress of my students. I usually handle three modules: Technique: everything that has to do with physical abilities. Repertoire: Significant works on the electric guitar for the student to develop from technique to musicality,I also allow repertoire that is of particular interest to the student. likewise musical forms are seen (ex: blues, rythm & changes, 32 bars, etc.) and / or standards. Theory: As a composer I am interested in developing creative skills, so I want my students to understand the music in its entirety, beyond just interpreting the instrument, so the theoretical concepts of harmony and musical grammar will be necessary. however, I pretend that most of the concepts are learned and applied through practice and improvisation.
