About Lily
Teaching computer science goes far beyond helping students memorize syntax or pass school exams; it is about unlocking a powerful way of thinking. Watching a student struggle with a confusing block of code or a complex algorithmic problem. Technology shapes our entire world, and guiding young minds—from Form 1 students exploring basic logic in ASK to Form 4-5 students writing real code in Computer Science —allows me to equip them with lifelong problem-solving tools. Many students initially feel intimidated by computers, programming, and technical theory, often viewing them as cold or overly difficult subjects. I want to teach because I love dismantling that fear, replacing it with genuine curiosity and creative confidence. Being a tutor means providing a safe, patient space where making mistakes is just part of debugging and learning. Knowing that I am helping build a student's self-belief—not just in computing, but in their overall capacity to tackle hard things—is why I am truly passionate about education.
