About Jozsef

You need an experienced German tutor from Bavaria, right? Aren't you bored with "professional" details like more than 25 years professional work in education and international communication, army life, holding several degrees and certificates? Building CONFIDENCE and fluency goes step by step: my experience allows me to explain grammar rules in German or English, using simple and practical means.

If you are looking for a professional tutor or exam coach who combines expertise, discipline, and supportive guidance, I would be more than glad to help you reach your goals.

Currently I am stationed in Ingolstadt and cooperate with authorities, law firms, and courts mostly in the EU zone. I teach kids and adults (all ages and levels), and THEY LOVE IT!

I am known for a structured, clear, and reliable teaching style, especially when preparing motivated students for GCE, A-Levels, or B1–C1 state exams. My students often achieve close to 100% in their exams and papers if they follow the suggested exam tactics. They always get precise instructions, patience, and respect of their special needs if present.
I use English everyday as professional interpreter, translator, also as Exam-teacher. My professional background includes legal practice, technical translation, NATO and UN missions, many years as private teacher, and I actually had worked for law firms, in the army, for the government etc. before choosing free life.
Please note that I don't provide single classes, so after the free demo (30 Minutes) you must choose a prepaid package. To save up to several hundred Euros choose the largest package and pay in advance. My best price is approximately 28 Euros per 45 minutes (see prices in the Details section).

About the lesson

You need to LOVE GERMAN for speaking it well! Entertain yourself with our lessons focusing on English-speaking learners if you want PROGRESS and GUIDANCE. You will be warmed-up by a short conversation in German (1-2 minutes "am Anfang" ) getting proportionally longer as you pick up more words to conduct a chat. You'll tell what classes did you have at school, or what happened at your work or in your family since last time. I'll take notices and we'll write a corrected composition so you'll learn from the mistakes.

If you have a school or work deadline, we'll focus more on your needs (exam topics/tests, office briefings/presentations). Your professional or academic needs will prevail. Learning through writing your presentations or E-Mails are the best shooting range for aiming at fluency. You'll get PRECISE INSTRUCTIONS by reviewing your homework, preparing for mid-term tests, or checking your essays and briefings.

Sometimes we don't have anything "interesting" to prepare for, so the warmer is followed by targeted grammar work or reading German together. Forget those silly tables and boring examples, and we won't let you be discouraged by "Zungenbrechers" either. We'll learn simple and easy-to-remember rules for der-die-das (Genus, Kasus, Numerus on articles) and Wortstellung (word order in subordinate clauses). You'll put your daily material into practice "sofort" (asap) in class, i.e. reading news or discussing events in your life.

You'll enjoy and benefit from tons of interesting material that I share with you. Children and adults with learning or concentration disorders can also improve. Not only motivated beginners, but upper-grade elementary pupils, GCE or advanced (A-Levels) secondary school students, university students, adults at work, or anyone preparing for Goethe, TELC, or ÖSD exams will get something from my classes with a strong emphasis on confident FLUENCY.

High-level conversation practice of course requires ACCURACY but for admission interviews or job interviews we use another method.

Additional Conditions
• In person lessons: in Bavaria only (Münnich, Ingolstadt usw.)
• Groups OK: many learners for one price (no extra charge per person)
• Weekends OK: double sessions only (2 × 45 min, same price)
• Payment: packages only, all classes must be paid in advance
• Refunds OK: socially admittable cases only, w/o discounts.
• Classes recorded in Google Calendar as recurring events
• Each classes individually agreed upon transferring my money
• I prefer wire transfer or Revolut for payment method.

Cancellation Policy
• TC – timely Cancelled (≥ 48 hours): no fee)
• LC – late Cancelled (< 24 hours): full fee → rescheduling €5*
• NS – No Show: full fee → rescheduling €10*
• No "calendar refuse": explicitly cancel the classes (messaging)
• No school holiday or bank holiday will be automatically regarded!
• My time zone needs to be observed (CET), flexible hours.
