About Charouth
Traditional tunes learned by ear from older players defined my early musical life. I grew up playing and singing in the Québécois style. This foundation informs my work with 325 students across various styles.
My teaching covers vocal health, warm-up exercises, and range extension. I assist with belting technique and diction for those preparing for exams. Sight singing is a major component of my curriculum.

Making vocal health the priority makes the process of singing much more enjoyable for the long term. If you think about the mechanics of the throat, the results improve naturally.
We focus on balancing the head and chest voice through controlled exercises. My experience in traditional singing helps me explain complex concepts like articulation in simple terms. Teens and returning learners appreciate the slow and steady approach I take toward range extension. Exams are manageable when the underlying vocal habits are solid.
I have spent 5 years refining these exercises for different voice types. We integrate theory into every session to ensure you understand the why behind every note. Does this approach align with your vocal goals?
