About Gabriela

Playing an instrument can have a number of benefits. Due to stimuli in the brain, both when playing an instrument and when listening to music, the ability to memorize and retain information is increased, and with that, also your ability to concentrate. In addition to requiring students to learn to be responsible for organizing and managing their time. Music, in most cases, is a collective practice, and knowing how to work in a team is an aspect that understands your learning. When playing any instrument, motor coordination that goes beyond hand movements is required, it includes the movement of the arms, body and also the eyes. Most of the time, getting started on an instrument can take time and a lot of effort, and one of the great learnings is patience and perseverance, which consequently bring a great sense of achievement for the student. All program content will be developed individually, designed for each student. Note: A travel fee will be added to the tuition fee if the student prefers to take his classes at his own residence.

About the lesson

Gabriela Leite Started her studies in cello in 2009, at the social project guri, in Guaratinguetá-SP. In the same year he joined the maestro fego Camargo conservatory, in Taubaté-SP, attending the cello class of professor Clodoaldo Leite. In 2012 he won a scholarship to the faculty FiamFaam-FMU, for the full degree course in music, in that same year he met Dr Andre Micheletti, in which he had the pleasure of participating in his cello class until his move to Lisbon. , in October 2017. He currently attends the cello class of professor Paulo Gaio Lima, in Metropolitana. Throughout her career, Gabriela went through several international music festivals, playing and improving her performance with great cellists from around the world and references from cello schools. Already in his career as a musician and teacher he had the pleasure of having been the first cello at the Orquestra Arte Barroca for 5 years and, in other orchestras as a guest musician. Lover and admirer of Anthroposophy and the Waldorf pedagogy, he taught for 5 years as a cello teacher at the Waldorf Rudolf Steiner school, one of the largest Waldorf schools in Brazil and at the Escola Livre Manacá, for 2 years as a Friction String teacher and coordinating the small orchestra school, whose objective is to improve and captivate students to the study of music and the chosen instrument.
