About Ricky
Hello everybody, my name is Teacher Ricky and I'm a Native English Speaker.
Although I come from a Mechanical Engineering and Project Management background, I have always had a passion for teaching and learning.
In my time, I have received many certificates and diplomas from University and other places of education and therefore understand and appreciate the importance of a good education, and more specifically, the foundation thereof.
My hobbies include Cooking and Baking, Home Improvement, and also Running and Walking, as well as Swimming in the ocean, and of course, spending quality time with my family.
I love meeting new people from different cultures, and especially so, when I can share some of my life experiences with them. It always gives me great pleasure when I see that they learn and benefit from what I have to share.
Because I have such a love for the English Language, I decided to get my level 5, 180 hour TEFL certificate so that I can do something which I enjoy, and that is, to teach English.

Because I have such a love for the English Language, I decided to get my level 5, 180 hour TEFL certificate so that I can do something which I enjoy, and that is, to teach English.
My experience covers many years of training and development of my children, my grandchildren, their friends and as well as with my Colleagues in the Corporate Business World.
So with my TEFL Certificate, coupled to my extensive business background, I now offer on-line English teaching to children as well as to adults.
You will find that my style of teaching will always be based on what best suits my students. As I monitor their progress, I will see what is needed to take them to that next level, and the next and the next, because clearly, my students’ progress is also my progress.
