About Lucille
I am a Nurse, Life Coach, and ESL teacher, bringing a unique set of skills to my teaching practice. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSc), a Ph.D. in Philosophy specializing in Holistic Life Coaching, and a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a Second Language. My extensive background equips me with a holistic and professional approach to education, ensuring that my students receive comprehensive and well-rounded learning experiences.
At heart, I am a dedicated teacher, passionate about being a catalyst in my students' learning journeys. I meticulously plan my lessons, tailoring them to the interests of my students to create an engaging and student-centered environment. My classes are designed to be fun, dynamic, and full of opportunities for practical speaking practice.
With a focus on building rapport and creating a comfortable atmosphere, I follow the PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) method to ensure effective learning. My energetic and encouraging demeanor helps students feel supported and confident in their abilities.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me is witnessing the moment when a student truly understands a concept—the light bulb moment when you see the realization in their eyes. Being part of equipping someone with a skill that can transform their lives is incredibly fulfilling.
