About Jenna
I am a perpetual learner as well as a teacher. I have a background in ESL teaching but lovedmany subjects in High School including Business, History, LO and English. I thrived in many areas and went on to explore many more areas of interest in University. I was a writer and Section editor for the university paper as well as a documentary filmmaker, avid reader and academic enthusiast.

I encourage students to think critically about the material, to engage with the prescribed reading but content linked to the material example: Jane Eyre has a a prequel called Wide Sargasso Sea which provides the postcolonial context and lens. This providesmore context to a lesson andwidens the comprhension of the novel.
