About Sayantan

I am a passionate Environmental Scientist and UGC NET JRF qualified educator with a mission to make "Green Science" understandable and exciting for everyone. With an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from BHU and a background in Environmental Law (NLSIU), I’ve spent a considerable time diving deep into how our planet works—and how we can better protect it.

Why learn with me?
I don’t just teach from textbooks; I teach from experience. Whether it’s researching microplastics in wetlands or working on-site at industrial plants to understand waste optimization, I bring real-world stories into every lesson. I’ve spent time interning with state pollution control boards and studying how traditional wisdom can help us fight modern climate change.

What this means for you: You won’t just be memorizing definitions. You’ll be understanding how policies are made, how industries manage waste, and how you can ace your exams by thinking like a true environmental professional.

My Classroom Vibe
I keep my classes friendly, interactive, and visual. I know that subjects like Ecology or Environmental Law can sometimes feel heavy, so I use a lot of flowcharts, photography, and real-life examples to keep things light and engaging.

Whether you are:

A school student looking to top your EVS boards,

A college student navigating complex university modules,

Or an aspirant preparing for the UGC NET JRF...

...I’m here to guide you every step of the way! My goal is to help you build the confidence to not only pass your exams but to truly fall in love with the science of our environment.

Let’s connect and start your journey toward becoming an environmental expert!

My Teaching Approach: Bridging Science & Reality-
I believe Environmental Studies (EVS) shouldn't be a subject of memorization, but one of observation and application. My classes are designed to transform students from passive learners into critical thinkers.

We start with a 5-minute discussion on a recent environmental news story or a local ecological issue to see how our topic exists in the real world.
I break down complex technical topics (like the nitrogen cycle, EIA processes, or waste management rules) using visual storytelling and simplified analogies.
I share professional insights—such as how a state pollution board monitors data or how companies apply ESG principles—to give students a "career-view" of the subject.
We conclude with a rapid-fire quiz or a mapping exercise to ensure the concepts are locked in before the session ends.

My Special Features as a Mentor-
UGC NET JRF Academic Rigor: I provide the high-level conceptual clarity required for competitive exams while keeping it accessible for school students.

Industrial Exposure: Having worked in Waste Optimization and with government boards (RSPCB), I bring "field-to-classroom" knowledge that makes the syllabus come alive.

Interdisciplinary Focus: I integrate environmental law, policy, and traditional ecological knowledge, helping students see the "big picture" rather than isolated facts.

Visual Learning: I use archives, photography, and flowcharts to explain processes, making the material highly scannable and easier to remember for exams.

For Whom are the Classes Intended?
My sessions are strategically tailored for three distinct groups:

School Students (Classes 9–12): Focus on CBSE/ICSE board exam excellence, simplifying ecological concepts, and securing top marks in EVS projects and theory.

College & University Students: Specialized support for B.Sc./M.Sc. students in Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or Law. I assist with complex topics like Environmental Legislation, ESG, and Ecology.

Aspirants & Professionals: High-intensity coaching for UGC NET JRF candidates and professionals looking to understand Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Circular Economy frameworks.
