About Margot

Hi you! I’m Margot, a Research Assistant at Anglia Ruskin University and a recent MSc Social Psychology graduate from the University of Kent (UK), where I achieved a Distinction. I also hold a BSc in Psychology (2:1) from Université Paris Nanterre. Currently, I’m applying for PhD programmes, and in the meantime, I enjoy tutoring to share my passion for statistics and help students succeed. My research skills are highly transferable across disciplines, allowing me to support students in both the social and environmental sciences with data analysis, methodology, and academic writing. Throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I frequently supported my peers—particularly in statistics (in which I scored 86%), academic writing, and presentations. About the lesson

Lesson format: Sessions are typically 1 hour but can be extended to 2 hours if needed. Before the lesson: Please email me the topic you'd like help with (e.g., ANOVA, APA formatting, etc.) so I can prepare in advance. It’s also helpful if you can share any relevant school/university materials you’re struggling with — we’ll review these together during our session. What I offer: * Clear explanations of complex concepts * Essay feedback with constructive, actionable advice * Help with coursework, statistical analysis, dissertation, and academic writing First session includes: * A discussion of your goals and academic challenges * An informal needs assessment * A personalised tutoring plan and scheduling Final Tip: Don’t forget to look after yourself—get good sleep, eat well, and take breaks.
